From the jump, one of the things we’ve been known for is our Parodies & Logo Flips. It’s as much a part of our DNA as it is an integral part of the DNA of Streetwear itself. The history of parodies goes back ages actually, but for us it begins with the parents of modern streetwear - Skate Brands and the Hip Hop clothing brands of yesterday, both share the same kindred spirit and both spring from a D.I.Y and counter culture ethos. It is within these traditions that we came up, and it is these traditions and the spirit thereof that we are trying to carry on to the next and newest of generations. We only flip logos of brands that we respect and revere. It’s a form of adoration for us, for either the brand or product themselves or in adoration and homage to the founders of a brand.
This particular flip many won’t immediately recognize, the immediate mention of its brand founder you may be familiar with, but the growth and success of ‘Preme in the last 5-7+ years or so speaks volumes of the importance of his work that you are well familiar with. We respect Angelo allot, are a fan of his brand and love to see the growth he’s making carving out his own space in the streetwear world and where he’s going with it.
